About Villa Sukacita

Villa Sukacita is a sprawling traditionally built private villa nestled amidst the many cafes, shops, bar and restaurants of Seminyak, Bali. If what you’re looking for is a peaceful atmosphere with good hangout spots and attractions in the neighbourhood then this would be the ideal place. Villa Sukacita boasts a traditional Javanese-style joglo living pavilion and a bedroom that is housed in joglo-style bungalow entirely made of wood. The gorgeous property holds similar sights of interests for the avid traveller and the rather reasonable rental is easy on the pocket!

Outdoor and Pool area

The private haven of Villa Sukacita is marked by the sparkling swimming pool which snugly occupies the outdoor space of the villa. With a timber pool deck just beside it that holds several rattan sun loungers, guests can easily feel themselves at rest while they relax and stretch their muscles on the chairs under the Bali sun. The fresh and sweet-smelling air of Seminyak is doubled by the rich tropical foliage and manicured gardens of the villa’s grounds. As the sun goes down, the outdoor lights shine downing the area into a magical glow transforming it into a magical evening by the pool.

Living Area

The main living pavilion at Villa Sukacita is housed in a traditional joglo with a particularly Balinese rooftop. The luxurious space is open-plan to ensure the guests glean the most advantage from the blissful ambiance of the outdoors rushing inside. Views of the swimming pool greets you as you relish the calming vibe while swinging softly on one of the chair-swings. There is a pristine-looking sitting area with a comfy sofa and a hanging swing sofa with a designer coffee table in the midst. A flat-screen TV is mounted on the opposite wall for your use, provided you are able to turn your gaze from your natural oasis for even a second. The middle of the pavilion, under hanging lights, holds the dining table which seats eight people. Just behind the dining area is the modern and fully-equipped kitchen, easy to manoeuvre as it has almost everything, including a bar, you could need from a quick meal to a five-course dinner. Under gorgeous artwork is a bench where one can rest to enjoy the view or the bar-stools on the island kitchen for a drink or breakfast.

Bedrooms

Villa Sukacita has four spacious, air-conditioned and well-furnished bedroom suites. One of the bedrooms is housed in a private joglo-style bungalow with a complete wooden architecture, which is intricately carved to express Balinese heritage. Two of the bedrooms are situated on either side of the main living pavilion and two, including the joglo, are on either side of the pool. While three of the bedrooms are furnished with queen-sized beds, one room has twin beds which is well-suited for children. The calming tones, traditional artwork, and antique furniture makes each room unique. All four rooms have en-suite bathrooms that have been designed with similarly vintage and rustic Balinese architecture with tropical rain-showers under thatched roofs.
